Reflection is the deliberate examination of your own work and process: asking what you were trying to achieve, how well the work achieves it, what is working and what is not, and what you might do next. It is not vague self-praise or self-criticism but a specific, evidence-based evaluation tied to your intentions. Good reflection connects observation ("the composi
