Devising is fundamentally a collaborative act. A group must generate ideas together, make decisions together, and sustain a productive working relationship over weeks. The quality of the collaboration shapes the quality of the work, and in the IB course the collaborative process itself is central to assessment. Good collaboration balances contribution and openness: everyone offers ideas, and everyone genuinely considers others' ideas.
